VOTF METRO REGIONAL AFFILIATE MEETING

The Northern Virginia VOTF Affiliate is hosting an area-wide VOTF meeting. All are welcome to join in this event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. All area affiliates will be represented at this important meeting where we'll share ideas, frustrations and hear from our keynote speakers, John and Skip Sullivan who were instrumental in the passing of Delaware Legislature Bill SB29. Bill SB29 eliminates the statutes of limitations in child abuse cases. This Bill is considered to be the strongest bill for child sexual abuse victims in the country. Skip and John will share their story and how their team helped pass this important Bill.

9 - 10 a.m. Keynote Speakers – John and Skip Sullivan, Coastal Delmarva VOTF affiliate leaders and members of their coalition who worked on unanimously passing Senate Bill 29. This Bill, which eliminates the statues of limitations in child abuse cases, has been termed “the strongest bill for child sexual abuse victims in the country."
